A tour of the dashboard
Where everything lives — the sidebar groups, the overview page, the top bar, and how the same dashboard changes depending on who is looking at it.
There is one dashboard, and it adapts to you. A council member and an owner both go to the same place; the difference is what appears in the sidebar and what the pages will show them.
The layout
Left sidebar — everything you can do, grouped. Overview and Assistant sit at the top on their own, then the groups.
Top bar — Support, the light/dark theme toggle, and Sign out.
The main area — whatever you clicked.
Tabs, inside the big areas
Three areas are large enough to have sub-pages of their own — Finances, Documents and Settings — and each carries a row of tabs under its heading. The lit tab is where you are; the others take you straight there.
It replaces the card grid at the foot of the Finances page and the back links above it: going from a lot's ledger to the budget is now one click rather than a return trip through the index. On a narrow screen the row scrolls sideways on its own without dragging the page with it.
Tabs never print — a statement sent to owners comes out as just the statement.

The sidebar, for owners
Owners get a shorter list under two headings.
My account — Account & payments (balance, invoices, pay online) and Maintenance (report an issue, track it).
My building — Announcements, Meetings & votes, Documents, and Compliance.
Hidden is not the same as blocked
Council tools aren't merely absent from an owner's sidebar — they're refused by the database itself. An owner who guesses a URL gets nothing back. See roles and permissions.
The Overview page
Your landing page, and worth actually reading rather than clicking past.
For council and managers it shows compliance status at a glance, the key financial figures, what needs attention, and a card for every area.
For owners it shows their balance, recent announcements, and a card for each area they have.
The Assistant
Pinned near the top of the sidebar, above the groups, because it answers across every area rather than belonging to one — money questions, document questions, and "how do I do this?" questions about the software itself. See the Assistant.
Small screens
The sidebar collapses behind a menu button. Everything else is the same — the dashboard is a progressive web app, so you can add it to your phone's home screen and it opens like an app.
Finding things quickly
- Overview carries a card for every area, so it works as a second navigation.
- The Assistant will tell you where something lives: "where do I charge interest on arrears?" gets you an answer with the click path.
- Support in the top bar reaches a person.
Still stuck? Open Support in the top bar of the app, ask the Assistant, or contact us.
